The Qatari – Thai diplomatic relations have been initiated since 7th of August 1982 between ambassadors

In the frame of applying the diplomatic and consular cooperation agreement signed between the Stat of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman: A Qatari Representative has been appointed in Omani Embassy in Bangkok. The Representative office was opened in 2002.

The Qatari Embassy in Thailand was opened early in October 2004 (as the ambassador arrived to Bangkok on 28.12.2004).
